when do we book a session?
I like to keep a pretty fluid schedule so I book constantly throughout the year.
Family and Milestone Sessions:
I schedule these 6 weeks out (many can happen farther out if you would like).
Maternity & Newborn Sessions: Maternity sessions take place between 28-36 weeks gestation. Newborn sessions are scheduled once your little one arrives, the session happens typically within the first 3 weeks of life but I can work with any age and situation. In order to get your due date on my calendar, we book your newborn session as early as the 10th week of pregnancy.
My fall tree line sessions begin booking in the summertime and my fall calendar doesn't open until June each year.
If you are looking to get Christmas cards done, please complete your session before November 15th to allow time for editing.
You can prepay for your session at anytime without scheduling the date of your session; especially for newborn sessions.

what is included with our portrait session?
I offer two types of portrait sessions, all which can be used for family, seniors, cake smashes/milestones, engagements and maternity photos.
A petite session which is a half hour long and includes all of the digitally retouched images.
A deluxe session is an hour long and includes all of the digitally retouched images and a 16x20 mounted print of your favorite image.

we've never done a photo session, where do we begin?
No worries at all! Some folks do photos several times a year, and some do them once a decade. Whatever works for you and your family is the best thing.
First step is to decide what type of session works for you. Are you wanting to update your family photos? Is this for a special occasion such as senior portraits for a yearbook or a cake smash to celebrate a birthday? Next, choose the length of your session. I offer a half hour session and a one hour session. After that, it's time to secure your session date. Shoot me an email and we can get everything squared away. Then it's on to picking outfits!

what is included with your newborn session?
I offer two types of newborn sessions. Each come with full use of props, wraps, backgrounds, outfits, hats, and headbands.
The deluxe newborn session includes parent and sibling images (if you choose to have those), 4-5 set ups, all edited images delivered digitally in a private gallery for downloading, printing, and sharing. Your session investment also includes a 16x20 mounted print of your favorite image. These sessions typically last 3 hours in length.
The petite newborn session is a miniature session with one set (baby is wrapped). Family and sibling photos are not included. This comes with all edited images delivered digitally in a private gallery for downloading, printing, and sharing. This session is a hour long.
do we get images?
YES!! As an all inclusive photographer, your session fee includes the digitally retouched images. With this, you get printing rights which means you can take your images to any print lab and make endless amounts of prints. You can even do cards, post on social media and share with your family and friends.
